this painting was commissioned by my client using a photo he took of the rig and flag and he had me use that reference and add in the oilfield man, the cowboy, and use a different Longhorn than the one in the reference. I could not tell if the reference was a photo or a painting or possibly a combo of the two. I want to give full disclosure. I would give credit to the other person but I don't know their name. This is an unusual request as I don't normally use anyone's artwork but it was a special request and there were many changes made.
