#fairy #Friday's Child #birth month This video is of an acrylic painting on an Ampersand Pastelbord. This is the first video of my faerie line, called "Friday's Child" I have been working on. These faeries, or Will-o'-the-Wisps only come out to play at night! This little faerie queen has stolen a peridot ring to wear as her crown. She also represents the month of August with poppies and peridot birthstone. Using this board was so fun! I started with a gisaille underpainting to bring out the highlights. From there I added some of the darker points. This board is a little more absorbing than even paper boards but I actually loved how I could wash areas out and know it would fade a little more with water. Great for washes! I hope to get my line on merchandise soon so please subscribe and keep watching for future art tutorial posts! Thank you for watching and I will get better at the videoing process I promise!!!!!
